Centerville’s housing stock is dominated by 1980s and ’90s subdivision builds — Yankee Trace, Cherrybrook, Forest Ridge, Centerville Lakes — with a smaller core of older mid-century homes near Far Hills Ave and downtown Centerville. The classic Centerville kitchen we walk into is 12-by-14 with original golden oak cabinets, beige laminate countertops, a peninsula that doesn’t seat enough people, and a soffit running the perimeter that drops the ceiling height visually. About 70% of our Centerville work is a full cabinet-and-counter replacement: oak out, painted shaker or rift-cut white oak in, soffits removed to gain wall cabinet height, and the peninsula turned into a real island with prep space and seating for four.
